Larry’s fishing charter policies

1. Deposits & Cancellations

A 50% deposit is required to book your trip unless you are a returning regular customer.

If you fail to cancel your trip at least fourteen (14) days prior to your scheduled date, you will forfeit your deposit. Trips cancelled with more than fourteen (14) days notice will receive a full refund.

Failure to show up for your scheduled charter without prior notification will result in you being responsible for the full trip fee.

2. Alcohol Policy

Beer is allowed in moderation. No hard alcohol is permitted on the boat.

3. Captain’s Authority

The Captain reserves the right to cancel or terminate any trip at any time due to unsafe weather conditions or unacceptable behavior from any member of your party.

4. Weather Conditions

Rain alone does not automatically make conditions unfishable. However, high winds, thunderstorms, or other hazardous weather conditions may result in trip cancellation for safety reasons.

5. Passenger Limit

Larry’s Fishing Charters is licensed and insured for no more than six (6) passengers per trip.

6. Life Jackets & Safety

Children age 13 and under are required by the United States Coast Guard to wear a life jacket at all times while onboard.

We provide properly fitted children’s life jackets based on weight and size. Adult life jackets are also available for anyone who wishes to wear one.

7. Punctuality

We expect all guests to arrive on time for their scheduled trip to ensure maximum fishing time.

8. Illegal Substances

Any illegal substances brought onboard will result in the immediate termination of your charter without refund.

9. Fishing Disclaimer

While we always do everything in our power to provide a successful and enjoyable trip, fishing is not guaranteed.

10. Coolers & Storage

Large coolers are not permitted onboard due to limited space. They may be left securely at the dock and used to transport your catch after the trip.

11. Regulations Compliance

We strictly adhere to all Connecticut fishing regulations. No illegal fish will be kept or brought onboard.

12. Trip Confirmation

The Captain will contact you one to two days prior to your trip to confirm weather and trip details.

If you do not receive a call, please assume conditions are good and we will see you at the dock at the agreed-upon time.
